Who we are
Beacon is a launch and distribution platform for app builders, operated by Beacon Labs, Inc. Questions about this policy can go to privacy@beaconboost.app.
What we collect
Account details you provide (email, username, display name, avatar), the app listings and media you publish, content you generate in the workspace, and basic product analytics such as page visits, referral channel and stars on a listing. Payment details are handled by our payment processor — we never see or store full card numbers.
How we use it
To run your account, publish your listings, generate marketing content you request, enforce plan limits, send product and digest emails, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with providers that help us operate: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor for subscriptions and one-time purchases, our email provider for transactional and digest email, and AI model providers used to generate content you explicitly request. Public parts of your profile and app listings are visible to anyone by design.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your theme, and measure product usage. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. Deleting an app removes its listing and associated feedback. To delete your account and associated data, email privacy@beaconboost.app and we will action it.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@beaconboost.app and we will respond within 30 days.
Security
Access to your data is enforced at the database level with row-level policies, media uploads are served through signed URLs, and billing fields can only be changed by our payment webhook. No system is perfect — report a suspected vulnerability to security@beaconboost.app.
Changes
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
